Michael Bennett Cohn (aka miconian) has been a media planner, web traffic analyst, online ad salesman, ad operations guy, TV story editor, and creative consultant.

These days, much of his time goes into the interactive literary magazine, Revolving Floor, which he produced, and for which he serves as the publisher.

He is available for freelance work, including writing, editing, the business side of web production, and online marketing consulting.

His employers have included CondeNast, Microsoft, Fly Communications, and Federated Media. His clients have included Amazon, Register.com, and The French Culinary Institute.

He may be the only person on Earth to be a CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) and to also have a master’s degree in screenwriting from the University Of Southern California.

“Miconian” is a play on “Mike Cohn.” If Michael ruled a kingdom, then his subjects would be called Miconians. Alas, he is currently the only one.

He lives in the Carroll Gardens/Cobble Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, but he has also lived for long stretches of time in Kansas City, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

Michael is often asked by the FBI to help solve media-related crimes.

He is taking applicants for a sidekick, but you must be willing to die at the end of the second act, so that he can look good when he avenges you later on.
